Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze was won through using the balance bar. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the US team. This made her, and teammates Gabby and Gabby the first Americans to be able to complete this feat. She also won silvers in individual all around and for floor work. In between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally, she was part of two gold medal winning world championship teams. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly hopes to be an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the range of her socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce, a new book she's currently working on will be released later in the year.
